Cheshire Makes It to the Top of Latest High School Baseball Poll
Not a single team maintained the same position from last week, and two schools debuted in the top 10.
CHESHIRE, CT — Two teams made their 2019 season debut in the top 10 and every position in the poll featured a different school than the previous week in the latest high school baseball poll of Connecticut spots media members.
Cheshire received the top nod from six voters to assume the pole position, after placing second the prior week. Staples garnered four first-place votes to vault from fourth into second, while Daniel Hand (three first-place votes) moved up to third from sixth.
Here are the top 10, with last week's ranking in parentheses, as well as all other teams receiving votes.
