Cheshire Man Admits Sexual Relationship with Student
John Tejada was a fencing coach at several Fairfield schools when he had the relationship with a student, according to reports.

A Cheshire man and former fencing coach at two Fairfield schools pled guilty to sexual assault charges, according to a report in the Connecticut Post.
John Tejada, 36, of Mixville Road, allegedly had a sexual relationship with a student at Ludlowe High School in Fairfield. The girl was on the fencing team that Tejada coached, according to the report.
About two years ago the relationship was discovered by the girl's parents, who read text messages on her phone from Tejada that detailed the trysts, according to the report. The girl at first failed to cooperate with police but later agreed to talk with police.
Telejda pleaded guilty Tuesday in Bridgeport Superior Court to one count of second-degree assault and could be sentenced to as much as four years in prison when he is sentenced March 14.
