Cheshire Resident Appointed to UConn Law School Alumni Board

The University of Connecticut Law School Alumni Association appointed Robinson+Cole lawyer Linda L. Morkan to its Board of Directors during the law school’s Annual Meeting and Awards Dinner on October 16, 2018. Ms. Morkan is a member of Robinson+Cole’s Business Litigation Group and chairs the firm’s Appellate Practice Group.

Ms. Morkan maintains a litigation practice dedicated to appellate advocacy and has achieved numerous appellate wins for clients during her three-decade career. Since joining the firm in 1988, she has been involved in more than 200 appeals before the Connecticut Supreme and Appellate Courts; the Rhode Island Supreme Court; the Supreme Judicial and Appeals Courts of Massachusetts; the New York Appellate Division and Court of Appeals; the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First, Second, Third, Fifth, Sixth, and D.C. Circuits; and the U.S. Supreme Court. Ms. Morkan graduated with honors from UConn Law School and was actively involved in both the Connecticut Law Review and Connecticut Moot Court Board. In addition, Ms. Morkan later served as an adjunct professor at UConn Law School for over a decade.
