HAI Group Welcomes Interim President and CEO
The HAI Group announces that Edmund Malaspina, Jr. has been appointed Interim President and Chief Executive Officer.

From the Housing Center: HAI Group, a national provider of innovative solutions tailored for the public and affordable housing industry, is pleased to announce that Edmund (Ed) Malaspina, Jr. has been appointed Interim President and Chief Executive Officer.
Mr. Malaspina joined HAI Group in 1991 and was most recently the Chief Marketing Officer responsible for business development, corporate marketing, enterprise strategy, as well as industry initiatives and market intelligence.
“For the past 25 years, I have had the privilege of working for one of the most admired companies in the industry,” said Mr. Malaspina. “I have seen this company take ideas and turn them into reality, and have been fortunate to be a part of the process. The demand for affordable housing will not be dissipating anytime soon; so I look forward to leading the talented team at HAI Group in the creation of innovative ideas to better serve our Members so they in turn can serve their community. I thank the Board of Directors for this opportunity and am confident about the future of HAI Group.”

Christine Hart, executive director of the Brattleboro Housing Partnerships (Vermont) and Chairman of the HAI Group Board of Directors, said, “Mr. Malaspina is uniquely suited to fill this role as he has worked in nearly every aspect of the business.” She continued that, “The Board of Directors provides their full support to both Mr. Malaspina and all of the employees at HAI Group. Together through hard work and dedication, the future for HAI Group is bright.”
Mr. Malaspina holds a Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Hartford and Master of Science in Management from Albertus Magnus College.
