New Tea Business Launches In Cheshire

A new tea business, featuring Alice in Wonderland-inspired teas, has launched in Cheshire.

CHESHIRE, CT — A new tea business, featuring Alice in Wonderland-inspired teas, has launched in Cheshire. The Wonderland Tea Company is an online retailer of loose-leaf tea and teawares with a “focus on enjoying a solid cup of tea, the health benefits tea brings and the excitement bringing a part of Wonderland home can mean,” according to its owners.

The Wonderland Tea Company is co-owned by Josh Liposky and Jerry Piscitelli and was inspired by their passion for tea and the works of Lewis Carroll.

“With their unique backgrounds in branding and engineering their creative venture resulted in the start of the Wonderland Tea Company to further their need for high quality tasting loose leaf tea with an emphasis on a high standard for quality,” according to a press release. “This focus paired with an all things MAD genre aimed at the literary classics in Alice in Wonderland and Through the Looking glass resulted in what the company feels is a high standard in tasteful cups of tea such as their Mad Hatter Energy Blend (Black Tea) or White Rabbits Tea Time (White Tea).”

Piscitelli said they “really wanted to revive the idea of taking the time for a superior cup of tea.”

“Not blindly taking a tea bag and pouring hot water over it,” he said. “Our aim was to really educate customers through our website how to experience how a great tea should taste. Also, we look forward to exploring the entire Wonderland fantasy one style of tea at a time, there are some amazing characters to have fun with.”
