Obituary: Joseph Florentino, 82, of Cheshire
Joe, devoted family man, served as manager of the Junior Accent Dress Company, before working at the Yale University Computer Center.
CHESHIRE, CT - (From Peter H. Torello & Son Funeral Home) Joseph Florentino, 82, of Cheshire, died May 22nd at Mid-State Hospital after a long illness.
He was the loving husband of Barbara DeMeo Florentino.
Born in New Haven, son of the late Dominic & Mary Marino Florentino. Joe resided in Hamden most of his life where he raised his family prior to moving to Cheshire.
He was manager of Junior Accent Dress Company, owned by his parents, for 15 years. He then began his career at Yale University Computer Center until his retirement in 2005.
His greatest pleasure was being with his family, especially his grandchildren. Besides his wife, he is survived by a son Joseph (Emily) Florentino of Essex, daughters; Kim (Gary) Mastroianni of Wallingford, and Lisa (William) Newman of Hamden, grandchildren; Kirsti Mastroianni, Tyler Newman, and Bella Florentino.
Friends are invited to attend a parlor service FRIDAY at 12P.M. in the Peter H. Torello & Son F.H., 1022 Dixwell Ave., Hamden, and may call Friday from 10 A.M.- 12 P.M.
Burial in Beaverdale Memorial Park.
