Pool Supporters Take to the Airwaves

The Friends of Cheshire Pool will air a television program this month outlining their support for the construction of a permanent structure.

For the next three Saturdays, Cheshire residents will be able to tune in to Cheshire Public Access Television channel 15 to see why some are supporting the $3.2 million proposed permanent structure over the Cheshire Community Pool.

The community group Friends of Cheshire Pool produced the television program urging people to vote yes this November for the permanent solution.

The Cheshire Community Pool Evaluation Committee determined that a steel tension membrane structure was the best way to deal with the collapse of the pool bubble during the February blizzard. The option will cost $3.2 million.
