Regional Premiere of 'Heathers: The Musical' Features Cheshire Native

The first professional production of Heathers: The Musical in New York is unlike anything you’ll see this season! Complete casting has been announced for the White Plains Performing Arts Center's upcoming production of Heathers: The Musical which will play the New York venue October 14th - October 23rd. The show not only features performers from all over the country but showcases Cheshire native, Deanna Giulietti, in the role of Heather Duke

Jeremy Quinn will direct the production with music direction by Stephen Ferri and choreography by Lexie Fennell Frare.

Heathers the Musical is a hilarious AND heartfelt new show based on the greatest teen comedy of all time - the 1989 classic film Heathers written byDaniel Waters which starred Winona Ryder, Christian Slater and Shannen Doherty. With its moving love story, laugh-out-loud comedy and unflinching look at the joys and anguish of high school.

This darkly delicious story of Veronica Sawyer, a brainy, beautiful teenage misfit who hustles her way into the most powerful and ruthless clique at Westerberg High: the Heathers. But before she can get comfortable atop the high school food chain, Veronica falls in love with the dangerously sexy new kid J.D. When Heather Chandler, the Almighty, kicks her out of the group, Veronica decides to bite the bullet and kiss Heather's aerobicized ass... but J.D. has another plan for that bullet. Heathers the Musical will play the White Plains Performing Arts Center Friday and Saturday October 14-15 and October 21-22 at 8:00 pm and Sunday October 16 and October 23 at 2:00 pm.
