CHESHIRE, CT — The Planning and Zoning Commission is considering a plan for a new Starbucks to be built on the site of the former Dragon Buffet restaurant at 944 South Main St. in Cheshire, according to the New Haven Register.

The Register reports a vote on the application, which calls for a 2,000-square-foot Starbucks with a drive-thru, was postponed due to concerns brought up during this week’s public hearing. The hearing is expected to resume in two weeks, according to the Register.

PZC member Robert Brucato said the proposed design doesn’t have a “nice village look” and didn’t fit in that part of Cheshire and others had concerns about traffic, the Register reports.
