Stop & Shop Celebrating Grand Reopening In Cheshire
The newly remodeled store features an expanded produce section, more prepared foods and introduces pickup services, according to officials.
CHESHIRE, CT — Stop & Shop is celebrating the grand reopening of its Cheshire store at 275 Highland Ave. on Friday, Aug. 21. The remodeled store will include new features and offerings like fresh options on-the-go, and will introduce pickup services through www.stopandshop.com, according to officials.
“New features include an expanded produce section, sushi prepared fresh in store, and a hot bar featuring hot foods made fresh in store daily for meals and entertaining,” according to a news release. “The store has also introduced Pickup so local customers can shop online at www.stopandshop.com, pick up their order at the store the same day, and have a Stop & Shop associate load their groceries right into their car.”
To celebrate Stop & Shop’s commitment to the community, the store will also be donating $1,000 in cash and an additional $500 in product to The Cheshire Community Food Bank, which provides food to Cheshire residents in need. In partnership with interdenominational organizations in Cheshire, the pantry provides services which improve the quality of life of individuals and families while battling food insecurity across the community.
