Summer Concert Postponed In Cheshire For Friday

CHESHIRE, CT — Friday night’s summer concert Last Licks has been postponed until Friday, Aug. 17 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Bartlem Park in Cheshire, the Cheshire Parks and Recreation Department announced.

“The postponement is due to the current conditions of the fields (as a result of the recent rains) and the threat of impending storms in the forecast for this afternoon/evening,” the department wrote in a post on Facebook. “Due to the high production value of our concerts, set up can take between 3-4 hours so decisions often need to be made earlier in the day. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to seeing you next Friday August 10th for Parrot Beach (Jimmy Buffet Tribute) and then Friday August 17th for Last Licks!”
