- Learn about the Shabbat: 7:30 p.m. at Temple Beth David, 3 Main St., Cheshire. Rabbi Josh Whinston leads a class about finding the deeper meaning behind many Shabbat rituals. Rabbi Whinston will explore the deep well of spirituality that Shabbat offers Jews each week. This class will have a direct impact on the experience of the prayers and rituals of Shabbat.
- The Economic Development Commission meets at 7 a.m. in room 207/209 in Cheshire Town Hall. Find the agenda here.
Wednesday, Nov. 20:
- If you're a local business owner who would like to increase their sales and grow their business, you are invited to visit the Cheshire Chapter of BNI, Business Networking International. They meet at 7 a.m. at Oasis Church, 176 Sandbank Road.
Thursday, Nov. 21:
- The Inland Wetlands Commission meets at 7:30 p.m. in the Town Hall Council Chambers. Find the agenda here.
Saturday, Nov. 23:
- It's the 5th annual Hot Coco 5K and Kids Fun Run at Norton School, 414 North Brooksvale Road. For more information, click here.
- Cheshire United Methodist Church at 205 Academy Road is hosting its 4th Annual Festival of Trees and Marketplace from 9 a.m. -3 p.m. The Festival features a silent auction of decorated Christmas trees, crafters and gift vendor booths, a sale of homemade pies and breads for Thanksgiving, and unique, hand-crafted Christmas ornaments. Admission is free.
