Three Cheshire Residents Win Big in Palace Theater Raffle

Three lucky Cheshire residents won prizes in the annual Palace Theater Raffle; one took the top prize!

WATERBURY – Congratulations to the eight lucky winners that took home the top prizes in the Palace Theater’s 2019 Annual Raffle drawing. The drawing was held on Friday, June 14.

The raffle, which kicked-off last fall, was spear-headed by the theater’s Board of Directors, Development Committee, and a cadre of volunteers and raised over $20,000 for the not-for-profit performing art center’s Annual Campaign.

The Palace's primary purpose is to revitalize the Greater Waterbury community through the presentation of the performing arts and educational initiatives in collaboration with area cultural and educational institutions. Its mission is to “preserve and operate the historic Palace Theater as a performing arts center and community gathering place that provides a focal point of cultural activity and educational outreach for diverse audiences."
