Westbrook Home To Be Featured On Popular HGTV Show

WESTBROOK, CT — A waterfront Westbrook home will be featured on an upcoming episode of HGTV’s “Beach Hunters” show, according to Zip06.com. Beach Hunters takes viewers to “some of the most exquisite beach destinations around to help buyers search for their dream homes on the sand,” according to its website.

“Follow the entire process from start to finish as each episode introduces a prospective buyer and agent and takes us along for the entire journey of their search,” the website states. “And for these Beach Hunters, it's all about location, location, location.”

Zip06 reports that 209 Salt Island Road in Westbrook, owned by Heidi and Wyatt Teubert, will be featured on Beach Hunters on Sunday, July 28 at 9 p.m. The listing photos of the nearly 2,000-square-foot home drew the TV show’s producers to the property, according to Zip06.

The home, which features four bedrooms and three bathrooms, was built in 1900 was raised and thoroughly renovated from top to bottom in 2016 and is now FEMA compliant, according to its listing on Realtor.com. The Teuberts told Zip06.com that the total cost of the renovations, hundreds of thousands of dollars, helped lead to their decision to sell what they thought would be their final home.

The asking price for the home is $1.024 million.
