18-Year-Old Arrested on Larceny Charges Related to Home Improvement Contracts

Danbury police arrested an 18-year-old teen after an investigation of a home improvement business.

DANBURY, CT — A New Milford teen was arrested on larceny charges Tuesday after turning himself into the Danbury police department when he found there was an active warrant for his arrest, according to Det. Lt. Christian A. Carroccio.

Sabino Cooper, 18, of New Milford was arrested and charged with second-degree larceny and failure to give cancellation notice and violation of the home improvement contract requirements, police said. Cooper was held on a $15,000 bond.

The arrest comes as a result of a joint investigation with the Danbury Police Department and the Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection. More arrests are expected as the investigation is still ongoing.
