Cartus Welcomes New Senior VP of Global Sales and Marketing

Cartus, based in Danbury, has named Mark Sonders as the new Senior Vice President of Global Sales and Marketing.

From Cartus: Cartus Corporation, a leading provider of global relocation services, has announced the appointment of Mark Sonders as Senior Vice President of Global Sales and Marketing. Sonders joins the company with over 20 years in business-to-business sales and leadership roles. His experience in a wide range of organizations and industries includes a strong focus on applying innovative technology solutions to advance corporate goals. He will be based in Cartus’ worldwide headquarters in Danbury, Connecticut.

Sonders, who considers himself to be a ‘relationship manager’ above all else, points to his primary goal as helping customers succeed by being a trusted partner. “To do this,” Sonders said, “we must truly understand their challenges before offering solutions. Sonders comes to Cartus from Vertafore, an industry leader in innovative technology solutions for the insurance industry. He led consecutive years of record-breaking sales and revenue, with a primary focus on providing complete, adaptable and evolutionary technology in the marketplace to help customers ‘future-proof’ their technology decisions. Prior experience included roles at prominent companies including eMind, LLC and Thomson Reuters, where he was responsible for driving revenue and business performance, including oversight for product and organizational vision and effectiveness, and compliance application. During his career, he has been ranked nationally among ExecRank’s listing of Top Chief Sales Officers.

Sonders earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing/Finance from Temple University.
