Crash In Danbury Sends Two Motorists To Hospital

DANBURY, CT — Two motorists were hospitalized following a collision Saturday night.

The Danbury Police Department were called around 7:50 p.m. about the accident, in the area of White Turkey Road Extension and Riverview Drive.

A 2012 Nissan Altima was traveling southbound on White Turkey Road Extension when a 2019 Volkswagen Jetta traveling in the opposite direction attempted to make a left turn, crossing into the opposing lane striking the Altima, according to police. The drivers of both cars were taken to Danbury Hospital for their injuries.
