Danbury Bar Has Liquor License Suspended

The establishment has paid a fine and had its liquor licenses suspended for four days, according to state officials.

DANBURY, CT — A bar and restaurant in Danbury had its liquor license suspended for four days last week, according to the state Department of Consumer Protection Liquor Control Commission.

According to the notice, the suspension was for violation of a statute prohibiting "disturbances, brawls, unlawful conduct or gambling" on the premises. La Costenita Bar Restaurant, at 2B Ives Street in Danbury, has paid a $1,000 fine and had its liquor license suspended from April 14-17, according to state records.
