Danbury CT Work Week Weather Forecast Includes Severe Cold

Bundle up Danbury! As a mix of snow, sleet and rain leaves, the weather turns brutally cold later this week.

DANBURY, CT — The snowflakes have come to an end for most of Connecticut as temps have risen above the freezing mark and rain will end early Monday afternoon. Communities in northern Connecticut saw a couple of inches of snow before the changeover to a mix Monday, while most of the state woke up just to plain rain after some initial snowflakes Sunday.

The rest of the weather week in Connecticut looks calm on the precipitation front except for a chance of some more snow on Friday night and Saturday, and that too could mix with some rain.

But the big story will be the blast of arctic air moving through the state in the middle of the week that will result in temperatures being in the low 20s for highs and it feel much colder with the wind. Temps at night could approach zero in far northern Connecticut while most of the state will be in the single digits Thursday night.
