Danbury Firefighters Rescue Motorist Trapped Inside Wrecked Car
Danbury firefighters were called to extricate a motorist from their car after a rollover on Clapboard Ridge Road
DANBURY, CT — Firefighters and emergency medical crews came to the aid of a motorist trapped inside their car, which had rolled over.
The Danbury Fire Department and Danbury Hospital EMS were on the scene in the area of 5 Clapboard Ridge Road shortly after receiving the call around 10 a.m. Sunday. First responders found a small SUV on its side with the driver still entrapped within the vehicle.
Firefighters used Res-Q-Jacks to stabilize the SUV, and then set about removing the windshield and freeing the driver.

No injuries were reported, but the SUV was totaled, according to fire officials
