Danbury Overdose Death Leads To Charges
A city man has been charged in connection with the overdose which took place earlier this year.

DANBURY, CT — Following the overdose death of a city woman in April, a man who police say sold her heroin, according to the U.S. Attorney's office. Gregory Charon, a.k.a. Yoshi, 31, of Danbury was arrested Tuesday on a federal criminal complaint on a charge of possession with intent to distribute and distribution of heroin.
Investigators say police responded to a Danbury home on April 9 and found that the woman had died on April 8. Three cell phones, a bottle of methadone and an empty bag marked with a brand stamp. The Office Of The Chief Medical Examiner found that she died of a methadone and benzodiazepine overdose.
Police say they made two controlled buys of heroin from Charon, and several of the bags of heroin were marked with the same brand stamp that was on the empty bag found in the victim's home.

If convicted, Charon faces 20 years in prison.
