Danbury Police Charge Man With Weapon, Drug Offenses
The PD began its investigation after receiving multiple citizen complaints the man was selling illicit drugs in Danbury and Brookfield.
DANBURY, CT — Police charged a Brookfield man with drug and weapons offenses after a weeks-long investigation.
The Danbury Police Department began its investigation of Christopher Rosini, 34, after receiving multiple citizen complaints that he was selling illicit drugs in Danbury and Brookfield, according to Det. Lt. Mark Williams.
On Wednesday morning, police began surveillance of Rosini and followed him as he was driving in Danbury. Executing search and seizure warrants for his person, car, and phone, police stopped Rosini on Augusta Drive. As there was also an outstanding warrant for his arrest, police seized his car and took Rosini to Danbury Police Headquarters.

Police later executed a search and seizure warrant for Rosini's home on Tody Lane in Brookfield, and seized hundreds of bags of heroin/fentanyl, assorted controlled prescription drugs, drug paraphernalia and a "substantial amount" of U.S. currency, according to their report.
Rosini was charged with illegal possession of a large capacity magazine, five counts of possession of a controlled substance, five counts of possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell, possession of less than a half-ounce of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, operating a motor vehicle without a license, and operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license.

Rosini was released on a $100,000 bond, and is scheduled to appear in court on March 31.
