Danbury Police: DUI

Danbury Police were told of a drunk driver at about 10:45 p.m. Dec. 20, and when they located the driver on Kohanza Street, the driver couldn't open the door. With the officers knocking on the window, the driver tried to go to sleep. When police woke him up and when he opened the door, the officers smelled alcohol. They saw a bottle of Scotch open on the front seat. The driver had trouble walking and he failed field sobriety tests. Police charged Jose Pinacela, 23, of Franklin St., with driving under the influence and driving without a license.
