Danbury Police Seek Public's Aid In Accident Investigation

Police are seeking witnesses to a crash that occurred in on Sunday night.

DANBURY, CT — Police are seeking witnesses to a crash that occurred in the city on Sunday night.

At approximately 8:44 p.m., the Danbury Police Department was called to the area of 85 Clapboard Ridge Road for a serious motor vehicle collision involving injured persons. A preliminary investigation indicated that a Honda CRV was traveling southbound on Clapboard Ridge when it collided with a Honda Accord, which was traveling north. Both operators and a passenger from the Accord were transported to Danbury Hospital for injuries sustained in the collision.

The collision is currently under investigation by the DPD's Traffic Division, which is looking for witnesses that might have seen the collision or have information to contribute to the investigation. Anyone with information is urged to contact 203-797-2157.
