Danbury Road Closures Begin Wednesday Evening
Four streets will be closed from early evening to early morning for the rest of the week.
Danbury’s Highway crews will be closing down several streets in the evenings over the next few days for milling work ahead of repaving scheduled for next week.
Starting Wednesday evening, Balmforth Ave., Crosby Street, Lee Hartell Drive and Osborne Street will be closed from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. while crews tear up the existing asphalt.
Crews are expecting to be able to reopen all four streets by Friday night, though the closures will be in effect until 6 a.m. Saturday.
The Highway Department has also scheduled paving for the four roads for Aug. 19-21, weather permitting.
