Danbury's 4th Of July Fireworks 2021 Canceled
Danbury's traditional Fourth of July fireworks may be canceled, but there are several other ways you can celebrate Independence Day.
DANBURY, CT — Although coronavirus cases continue to drop across the country while the number of those who are fully vaccinated continues to rise, many Independence Day celebrations have once again been canceled, modified or will be held virtually due to the pandemic.
Danbury’s fireworks may have been canceled, but there are still celebrations and fireworks to be found in some nearby towns.

On July 3, the New Milford Chamber of Commerce will be sponsoring a fireworks display.
Festivities kick off 6:30 p.m. with the Opening Ceremony on the Green. Live music begins on the bandstand at 7 p.m., featuring Blue Martini Revue and Songhorse. Fireworks will ignite when it becomes fully dark. Fort Hill Road, Peagler Hill and Town View will be closed to traffic during the fireworks display.

On July 5, the Tiger Hollow Stadium gates open at 6 p.m. for "Ridgefield’s Family Firework Celebration." The pyrotechnics will begin at dusk.
Tiger Hollow Stadium is at Ridgefield High School, 700 North Salem Road. Parking will be available at the high school, as well as at Barlow Mountain and Scotland Elementary Schools. Shuttle buses will be provided from the two elementary schools. Attendees should have their printed order confirmation or ticket on their dashboard and ready at the gate. Tickets are $20 per car, and available online here. Rain date is July 6. More information is available on the Patch Calendar and the town website.
