Danbury's Newest Hotel, Zero Degrees, to Hold Ribbon Cutting

Hotel Zero Degrees in Danbury will be home to destination restaurant, Terra of Danbury, operated by regionally acclaimed Z Hospitality Group

DANBURY, CT — Mayor Mark Boughton join developer Randy Salvatore, Founder and President of RMS Companies, and Charles Mallory, founder of Greenwich Hospitality Group, for a ceremonial ribbon cutting to mark the opening of Hotel Zero Degrees Danbury on Wednesday, November 16th at 4 p.m. The third location for the boutique brand, located at 15 Milestone Road, Danbury, is officially open and celebrating their Grand Opening.

"There is no doubt that Danbury has become a destination for top-shelf venues, entertainment, and lodging. Hotel Zero Degrees is an exemplary example of that fact. We are thrilled that this hotel has found a home in our city," said Mayor Boughton. Randy Salvatore, Chief Executive Officer of Developer RMS Companies, recently commented, “We are so excited to be expanding the Hotel Zero Degrees brand into the Danbury community. We are looking forward to providing accommodations for business and leisure travelers as well as becoming the central gathering place for restaurant patrons and social groups for many years to come.”

Hotel Zero Degrees Danbury is located off I-84 and features 114 unique guest rooms, including 27 extended stay suites. The hotel has over 3,500 square feet of indoor event space, including a 2,600 square foot ballroom and an expansive outdoor patio for casual dining or larger functions.

Jonathan Nehmer + Associates, Inc. and HVS Design have paired to create a design that the owner says is "relaxed yet sophisticated, minimal but not austere, subtle but impactful. Hotel Zero Degrees Danbury reflects the natural elements of the local landscape, from its modern lodge exterior to its eclectic curated interiors."

The hotel will be home to destination restaurant, Terra of Danbury, operated by regionally acclaimed Z Hospitality Group, proprietor of Mediterraneo, Terra and East End in Greenwich; Sole’ in New Canaan, Mediterraneo at Hotel Zero Degrees in Norwalk, Aurora in Rye, NY and coming soon Mediterraneo of White Plains. The restaurant will serve both lunch and dinner, as well as cater all corporate and social functions.
