Diane Elizabeth Beardsley, Danbury Resident, Passed Away

DANBURY, CT — Diane Elizabeth Beardsley born May 27, 1948 to Elizabeth Omasta and Harold Beardsley (both deceased) passed away November 18, 2015. She was the oldest of four including her surviving sisters Dorothy and Linda, brother Richard.

She will be remembered for work in nursing and her local and church communities. She moved to CA over a decade ago to pursue a teaching avenue which led to her touching a multitude of students and lives, reaping her many awards and accolades.

Her independent and loving spirit will be remembered by all but most carried on with her love for her children Christopher and Carolyn Tomaino; her four grandchildren Zhanae Briggs, Brody, Jude, and OuidaLouise Tomaino; and her nieces Dayna, Suzanne, and Karen. She was taken too soon but led a meaningful life.

Services were held Friday November 18, 2016 at St. Peter's Catholic Church, 104 Main St. Danbury, CT. She joined her parents at Immanuel Lutheran cemetery in Danbury.
