Downtown Chowdown Set for Kennedy Park Thursday

DANBURY, CT - From the City of Danbury: The City of Danbury and CityCenter Danbury are excited to announce a seasonal collaborative event, The Downtown Chow-Down! The event will be held at Kennedy Park in downtown Danbury, every Thursday between July 13th and September 28th from 11am to 2pm.

“We wanted to provide this opportunity so that local folks can break away from work and have some fun in downtown Danbury. I hope to see everyone at Kennedy Park this summer, enjoying some of the best local food trucks, great music and lawn games,” said Mayor Boughton.

Every week of The Downtown Chow-Down will feature a local artist or musical group. This Thursday, the local duo Feldman & Fox will be performing some of their music along with an appearance from 107.3 The Bull!

We will also be featuring different food trucks on a rotating schedule throughout the summer. This Thursday, we will have local favorites, Rice and Beans and Fork in the Road. Throughout the summer, we will be looking forward to visits from the following food trucks: Bang!Burger, DrewbaQ, CinnaChurro, and Firehouse Grill.
