Frost Advisory Issued For Danbury

The first frost advisory of the season has been issued.

DANBURY, CT — While temperatures have been unseasonably warm of late, a cold front is coming through sparking the first frost advisory from the National Weather Service. The NWS issued a frost advisory for Northern Fairfield County, from 2 a.m. to 9 a.m. Tuesday.

The advisory calls for temperatures in the lower to mid 30s late Monday into early Tuesday morning. Sensitive outdoor plants should be protected.

Areas of frost before 9am. Otherwise, sunny, with a high near 58. North wind 3 to 7 mph.

Patchy frost after 4am. Otherwise, clear, with a low around 36. Calm wind becoming southwest around 5 mph after midnight.
