A gas main installation by Eversource will snarl traffic for 3-4 weeks.

DANBURY, CT — A gas main installation by Eversource will snarl traffic for 3-4 weeks, the City of Danbury is reporting on its website.

The affected area is Wooster Heights Road from the intersection at Lee Farms Road to the Intersection of Terre Haute Road.

Numerous traffic delay warning signs and traffic control signs are being installed, and the hours of construction have been limited to off-peak hours of 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

During the project construction, one-way alternating traffic operation will be maintained. The construction work is expected to start on July 13.

Motorists are advised to use available alternative routes to avoid delays and inconveniences.
