Gas Prices Falling In CT Ahead of Labor Day Weekend

While the news is good, nationally gas is about 30 cents cheaper.

The news is mostly good when it comes to gas prices in Connecticut.

Last week gas prices tumbled 4 cents in Connecticut on average, and compared to one year ago, gas prices are down 17 cents.

In Connecticut, gas costs an average of $3.75 a gallon, while the national average is $3.44. Nationally, gas prices have dipped by 10 cents when compared to a year ago.

More than 30 million Americans are expected to travel this holiday weekend, News 8 reports.
