During the July 1 opening celebration for the new LEED-certified affordable housing community, The Heights at Darien, developers and project partners were joined by state and local dignitaries and other supporters to welcome new residents.  Pictured here, left to right, are CHFA President and Executive Director Eric Chatman, Matt Anderson from Imagineers, Senator Richard Blumenthal, John McClutchy of the JHM Group, Darien Housing Authority Commissioner Jan Raymond, Arthur Anderson from Imagineers (behind Raymond), State Housing Commissioner Evonne Klein, (behind Klein),DHA Board Member Allen Delaney , and Todd McClutchy, JHM Group.  The $28 million community is located on the 10.5-acre site of the former Allen-O’Neil Homes and includes 106 apartments housed inside 23 buildings designed in the same architectural style as surrounding neighborhoods.
