Longtime Danbury Resident Susan M. Donnelly Passed Away Suddenly

Danbury resident Susan M. Donnelly passed away suddenly after a short illness at her home on December 8, 2016. She was 65 years old.

DANBURY, CT — Susan M. Donnelly a long time resident of Danbury, passed away suddenly after a short illness at her home on December 8, 2016. She was 65 years old. Sue was born December 23, 1950 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, the daughter of Pamela and the late Clifford Law.

She was a member of the Danbury Moose Lodge, a loving wife, mom and Nana who enjoyed playing buck dice with her close friends every Wednesday. She mostly enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren. Her grandchildren were her special joy and she loved watching them at gymnastics, picking them up at daycare, playing with them on the backyard swing set, and just being a grandmother. Holidays were very special to her and she enjoyed getting the family together to celebrate each and every one of them at "Nana's House."

She spent winters in The Villages Florida and led a very active social life there. She will be sorely missed by all her "snowbird" friends.Sue was a kind and caring woman who will be greatly missed. She is survived by her husband Brian Donnelly, two children Michael Donnelly and his significant other Jenna Rahimov, Jennifer Brissitte and her husband Dwayne, her mother Pamela Law, one brother Ken Law and his wife Jeanette. She is also survived by six grandchildren, Ryan and Sari Donnelly, Dayne, Chloe, and Sophia Brissitte, and Jordan Daniels, one niece April Geoffrey, and two nephews Eric and Andrew Law.

Friends may call at the Green Funeral Home 57 Main St., Danbury on Tuesday from 2:00 to 6:00 PM where a funeral service will be held at 5:00 PM. Committal services will be held in private. To sign a book of remembrance please visit www.the greenfuneralhome.com.
