Metro-North to Disrupt Danbury Branch Service Next 2 Weekends

Service is being changed to accommodate track replacement, Metro-North said.

DANBURY, CT — Metro-North will be upgrading part of the Danbury Branch the next two weekends, shutting down trains and shifting ridership to buses.

Substitute buses will operate between Danbury and South Norwalk for all trains on Saturdays and Sundays, Oct. 26–27 and Nov. 2–3.

Service is being changed to accommodate track replacement, the railroad said.

Metro-North is advising that buses will operate as much as 20 minutes earlier than scheduled trains. A schedule has been posted online here.
