UPDATE: As of 9:45 p.m. Eversource is reporting 13,639 power outages in Danbury, which represents 36.39 percent of the city.
DANBURY, CT — Utility company Eversource has reported that 12,545 customers were without power in the city as Tropical Storm Isaias moved across the state around 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
Mayor Mark Boughton took to Twitter to warn residents that the city may be in for a long slog:

The worst of the storm has moved through Connecticut, but not before leaving a big impact. Widespread tree damage was reported, but rain and flooding was less of a worry thanks to the storm's quick speed.
