Police Charge Danbury Man With Multiple Drug Offenses
The police began their investigation of the man after receiving multiple complaints that he was selling drugs illegally throughout Danbury.
DANBURY, CT — Police charged a Danbury man with multiple drug-related offenses following an investigation.
The Danbury Police Department began their investigation of Kirk Junior Walker, 32, after receiving multiple complaints from residents that he was selling illegal drugs throughout the city, according to Det. Lt. Mark Williams.
On Tuesday at around noon, DPD investigators established a surveillance of Walker's residence on Eden Drive.

Shortly after 1:30 pm, police saw Walker and his girlfriend, Desiree Scott, 29, driving away from Eden Drive. Police followed, and then stopped their vehicle on Foster Street. Walker was detained pending the search of his person, and police executed an outstanding arrest warrant for Scott.
After executing search and seizure warrants for Walker's person, residence and phone, police say they discovered cocaine, prescription narcotics, drug paraphernalia, a "significant amount" of money and several pounds of marijuana.

Walker was charged with three counts of possession of a controlled substance, two counts of possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell, possession of drug paraphernalia, two counts of possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell within 1,500 feet of public housing, and risk of injury to a child. Bond was set at $150,000.
Scott was charged with evading responsibility and failure to drive right. She was later released on a $500 bond.
