Police Investigate Body Found In Danbury Pond

Danbury police said a white male was found dead in a pond by Mill Plain Road.

DANBURY, CT — Police are investigating a body was discovered submerged in a retention pond at the entrance of 55 Mill Plain Road.

The Danbury Police Department received a tip from a concerned citizen around 7 p.m. Thursday, according to Detective Lieutenant Mark Williams.

The police department's dive team and the Danbury Fire Department recovered the body of the white male, who showed no apparent signs of trauma, according to Williams.
