Police Seek Public's Help In Litchfield Homicide Investigation

The state police have been investigating the shooting death of a man from a single gunshot wound on Monday.

LITCHFIELD, CT — The Connecticut State Police Western District Major Crime unit is looking for the public's help in their investigation of a homicide.

The police seek witnesses in the area of Route 202 in Litchfield on Monday between 4:30 and 5:00 p.m. who may have spied "any erratic operation or interaction" between two cars moving eastbound.

The cars were a 2002 brown Saab 9-3SE and a 2016 black Audi A5 convertible, both with Connecticut plates. (See below)

The state police have been investigating the shooting death of Matthew Bromley, 39, from a single gunshot wound around 5 p.m. that day in a parking lot adjacent to 46 West Street.

Police identified Robert Fisher, a partner at a West Street law firm, as a "subject" in their investigation.
