Republicans Vote in GOP Primary Tuesday

Local Republicans will have a hand in choosing their candidates for November's elections.

Connecticut’s Republicans are heading to the polls Tuesday for the 2014 GOP primary, which includes state races for governor, lieutenant governor and comptroller.

Polls will be open state wide from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. (see Danbury’s voting districts below) for all registered Republicans.

Lt. Governor:
Penny Bacchiochi (convention nominee)
Heather Somers
David M. Walker

Comptroller:
Sharon J. McLaughlin (convention nominee)

Danbury’s seven wards vote in seven separate polling places:

Ward 1: Danbury High School gym
Ward 2: Pembroke School gym
Ward 3: Stadley Rough School gym
Ward 4: Shelter Rock School gym
Ward 5: Danbury War Memorial gym
Ward 6: Park Avenue School gym
Ward 7: Mill Ridge Primary School gym
