Shred drive to benefit Houstonic Habitat for Humanity

A Shred Drive to benefit Housatonic Habitat for Humanity is scheduled for Sat., May 1 from noon to 12 pm at Housatonic Habitat's offices at 51 Austin Street, Danbury. The drive will be run by Secure EcoShred.

Executive Director Fran Normann said, "We encourage our neighbors and friends to support us in this fundraising event that supports affordable housing for working families while providing a sound way to recycle paper and sensitive documents. Get your old files and sensitive documents shredded safely while saving the planet!" The shredded documents will be recycled at a certified plant. Suggested donations: $15 per box or large garbage bag; $10 for small garbage bag. The ReStore is a 10,000 Sq. Ft. thrift warehouse open to the public Tuesday through Saturday from 9 to 4.
