Storm Knocks Out Power for Some Danbury Residents

DANBURY, CT — The season's first Nor'easter has impacted many Eversource customers in Danbury and neighboring towns. As of 3:30 Saturday afternoon, nine residents in the city are still withour power.

The darkest town nearby is Ridgefield, with 119 still in the dark. Kent is next with 63, then Newtown with 34 homes still without power. There are ten dark homes in New Milford, four in both Monroe and Redding, and two in New Fairfield.

According to the National Weather Service, the worst of the rain is now behind us.
