Two-Alarm Fire Rips Through Danbury Home: PHOTOS
Residents on Stadley Rough Road were displaced due to the blaze.
DANBURY, CT — Residents of a Stadley Rough Road home were displaced after a two-alarm fire Tuesday evening, according to Danbury Fire spokesman James A. Gagliardo. Firefighters attacked the blaze from the interior, and it was knocked down shortly after they arrived at 5:40 p.m.
All occupants and their pets made it out of the home safely, but will be displaced until the home can be repaired. (To sign up for Danbury breaking news alerts and more, click here.)
Engine 23 was first to arrive on scene, and Capt. Joe Halas requested a second alarm due to heavy smoke coming from the home.
