Danbury Police charged Jose De Araujo, 25, Lake Avenue, Danbury, with two counts of risk of injury to a minor, first-degree unlawful restraint, second-degree criminal mischief, interfering with a 911 call and third-degree assault at 10 p.m. Saturday. Police held De Araujo on a $20,000 bond. He is scheduled to be arraigned at Danbury Superior Court Monday.
