Winter Weather Advisory Issued For Inland Fairfield County

NORTHERN FAIRFIELD COUNTY, CT — A winter weather advisory is in effect from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. Monday for inland sections of Fairfield County, the National Weather Service said.

"Snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 2 to 4 inches," the weather service said. "Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the evening commute."

Snow, mainly after 11am. High near 37. Wind chill values between 20 and 25. South wind 5 to 14 mph, with gusts as high as 24 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. Total daytime snow accumulation of 1 to 3 inches possible.

Snow likely, possibly mixed with rain, mainly before 7pm. Cloudy, then gradually becoming partly cloudy, with a steady temperature around 34. West wind around 8 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New snow accumulation of less than one inch possible.

Tuesday
A 20 percent chance of showers after 2pm. Partly sunny, with a high near 41. Wind chill values between 25 and 35. Southwest wind 6 to 10 mph.
