Woman Injured, Wires Down, After Car Strikes Pole in Danbury

The woman was taken to Danbury Hospital, bleeding from her abdomen, according to the report.

DANBURY, CT — A roadway was closed and a woman hospitalized following a single-car crash Wednesday morning, the News-Times has reported.

Barnum Road was shut down after a car struck a utility pole, leaving a damaged transformer, a spill of about two gallons of oil, and wires strewn across the street. The woman was taken to Danbury Hospital, bleeding from her abdomen, according to the report.
