Durham Farmers' Market Announces Thursday Lineup

The market is on the Durham Town Green at 30 Townhouse Road every Thursday afternoon.

Hello Market Friends,

We had a beautiful last week and another great one ahead of us. There are quite a few things happening at the farmers’ market this week. Many have been waiting for the return of Lobster Tails Food Truck. Well wait no more because they will be with us on Thursday!!! Lobster rolls, clam rolls, clam platters, Hummel hot dogs, fried lobster, lobster poutine and more!!!!

Another long awaited vendor returning this week is Chatfield Hollow Farm with their Mushrooms!!!!! They will have an assortment of mushrooms every week, some changing with the season.

We would like to introduce Keri’s Sweet Creations. They will be providing us with an assortment of sweet treats, apple fritters, fresh baked rolls, croissants, cinnamon rolls and much more. They will also carry some gluten free treats!! Be sure to stop by and check out all they have to offer.

No Trace Soap and Salve joins us with vegan and certified organic lotion bars, deodorant bars, and soaps. They utilize plastic free packaging to really leave “no trace” behind.

24 Peace is back on this week with their organic cotton shirts with prints from local artists.

Miller Corp Woodworking comes back to offer their woodworkings of various modern country style items.

Anna’s Lemonade returns with her all-natural lemonade made from fresh squeezed lemons, local spring water and very little sugar. Refreshingly delicious. Real old fashioned lemonade…..the kind you had as a kid.

Maple Grove Farm- maple syrup, maple cream, maple candy and maple walnuts.

Pedals Juice and Smoothie Bar- Cold pressed juices, nut butters and granola

Starlight Gardens- Right here in Durham and produces certified organic greens, veggies, root vegetables and cut flowers.

Dondero Orchards- Seasonal fruit and vegetables, baked goods, pickled items. Asparagus this week!!!!

Humblebee Honey- assortment of local raw honey, lotions, chap-sticks, and much more.

Meadow Walk Farm- Unique jams and an assortment of items from their farm.

Silver Thistle Farm and Cheesery- locally made cow and goat cheeses. Hard and soft cheese, a nice variety to choose from.

Passionately Pasta- Chef Nick’s hand-made pasta’s made with ingredients sourced from local farms. Come taste the difference in fresh made local pasta.

Mostly Nuts- making decadently delicious and healthy nut and seed blends you can enjoy and feel good about! Mostly Nuts is an all-natural product locally roasted in small batches, contains zero additives, and uses eco-friendly packaging.

Sweet Sage Bakery- local artisan baker with a nice assortment of breads, scones, bars, and more.

Auntie Arwen’s Spices- can season almost anything you can think of. They have curries, blends, grilling blends, baking extracts, crystallized ginger and lots more.

Papa Spyros Olive Oil- Olive oil, moisturizer, bug repellant, hummus, tzatziki, spanakopita.

Al’s Kettle Corn- a unique blend of sweet and salt to give his kettle corn a taste like no other.

Super Soups- Almost ready to eat soups. Just add water and in 30 minutes, you have a meal. They also carry a variety of dip and dessert mixes.

Firmament Sky Creations- hand crafted jewelry made from silver and copper. They also have an assortment of luminaries.

Ronnie’s Candles- 100% soy candle maker. Many scents to choose from and they will also have wax melts.

Baba Scotch Sauces- Hot sauces made from scotch bonnet peppers. Different heat levels to accommodate everyone.

Pan De Oro- Local family owned all natural chips

Goatboy Soaps- Hand crafted goat milk soaps made in small batches

FOOD TRUCKS THIS WEEK:

Frank’s Wood Fired Pizza- Wood fired artisan pizzas, calzones and paninis. They utilize locally grown and produced products.

Lobster Tails- Lobster rolls, clam rolls, hummels hot dogs and much more.

The Tasty Empanada- Variety of Empanadas ranging from beef, pork, chicken, chorizo or vegetarian. Also serving smoked pork belly fried rice.

Please continue to follow the signs and park in the several locations available. There is parking in designated areas of the fairground. Do not park on either side of the road where the white house with the large gravel driveway is on Canfield Lane. Market vendors are subject to change.
