Durham Police Search For Suspect In Gas Station Robbery

Police are seeking to identify a woman in connection with a robbery last week.

DURHAM, CT — State police are seeking to identify a suspect in the robbery of a Durham gas station. Police said an unknown woman entered the Valero gas station on Main Street Jan. 29 at 3:41 a.m.

She asked the clerk for a carton of cigarettes. The woman told the clerk she had a gun and a needle in her sweatshirt, then reached for the store's register.

The suspect grabbed the entire store register and exited the store heading east on foot, continuing across Main Street toward Haddam Quarter Road.

The suspect was a white female, wearing a mask, about 5'6" and 150 pounds, with a deeper feminine voice. She appeared to be wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt with the word Cabelas on the front, gray sweatpants, a white New York Giants knitted hat, and gray/green work gloves.
