Durham's Coginchaug Regional High School Student-Athletes Pledge 'Class Act Sportsmanship'
The challenge is sponsored by the Connecticut Interscholastic Athletic Conference.

DURHAM, CT — Student-Athletes at Coginchaug Regional High School in Durham signed a pledge of "Class Act Sportsmanship," an initiative sponsored by the Connecticut Interscholastic Athletic Conference.
The pledge is designed to promote the principles and spirit of good sportsmanship in competition, concentrating on respect, teamwork and character.
CIAC officials launched the new program in November.

“The CIAC and our membership are excited to launch the Class Act Schools program and give a platform for our member schools to strive for best practices in sportsmanship,” said CIAC Executive Director Karissa Niehoff in a statement. “The development of this program really came from the leadership of our member schools and CIAC is thrilled to support them in their efforts and we all believe this program can make a positive impact.”
