Update: Due to stronger than expected winds, hot air balloon rides will NOT be offered Saturday. The tethered balloon rides are scheduled Sunday.
Lyman Orchards is offering tethered hot air balloon rides this weekend at the orchards' Sunflower Maze.
The rides are $5 person, the proceeds of which are donated to the Connecticut Children's Medical Center. The rides will begin around 9 a.m. and are available on a first come, first serve basis. The number of rides is limited based upon fuel usage.
